Because I am a dork, I get Blue Bell's e-mails and when they are releasing a new flavor, they let me know. Well I flipped out when I read that in September they would be introducing Tiramisu ice cream. On September 1, I marched in to Publix got find it. They didn't have it yet, so on September 2, I called back to check. Still no Tiramisu, but the nice Public worker contacted his vendor and the next day, VOILA!
The picture does not do it justice, but this is THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH. EVER. Here's the description: a smooth coffee ice cream loaded with delicious cake pieces (read lady fingers), dark chocolate flakes, a creamy caramel sauce and a whipped topping swirled throughout. It's seriously amazing. Their best flavor yet to date!
AND (here's the best part): Kroger has Blue Bell BOGO through Wednesday, so hop on over and get some. That now means that our freezer has 6 half gallons of Blue Bell inside. :)
OMG I loved this BB flavor! It went away after just a few months never to return. I sure hope they bring it back once Blue Bell is up and running again.
