Sunday Morning Staple

French toast is Michael's favorite breakfast. This is something I used to hate, but WOW-it's grown on me. I like making it with my homemade bread that's a few days old. I like how it gets a little crustier. Michael loves soft bread for his. I also sprinkle mine with powdered sugar and he skips that (something about powdered sugar not being good for diabetics :)). So easy and so good!

I usually make 5-6 pieces. For this, I use:
3-4 eggs
About an 1/8 cup milk
salt
pepper
cinnamon

Beat eggs and add milk and salt and pepper. Dip bread in eggs and then sprinkle each side with cinnamon. Cook on griddle pan until each side turns crispy and golden. Serve with syrup (and powdered sugar).
