Roasted Brussell Sprouts

The last time brussell sprouts were placed on my plate, I was about 9 years old. My sister was so grossed out by them that she put one in her mouth and her gag reflex kicked in. She puked it up on my plate, so I actually never even tasted them. I decided to make them tonight, for my first tasting. My friend Rebecca loves them and said this is how you make them:
Wash the sprouts. Cut them in half and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Roast in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Shake them periodically to evenly cook.

28 years in and a first taste: I'd say they aren't too shabby. :)
