Grilled salmon with Asian glaze

We grilled salmon tonight and I knew Michael wanted rice and broccoli so I made an Asian marinade for it.

1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbsp orange juice
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp ground ginger
Prepare salmon by pulling out any bones and removing skin. Whisk ingredients together and pour over salmon filets. Let marinate in fridge for an hour. Prepare grill by turning to high heat and letting the grill get very hot. Oil the grates and then cook salmon bottom die up (formerly the skin side) for 3 minutes with the grill closed. Flip fish and cook an additional 5 minutes (little longer if the filets are very thick). Place on a plate and tent with foil for 5 minutes. Serve.

We bought this Cuisinart rice cooker earlier this year when my old one died. A rice cooker is a must have for me. Is one of the kitchen appliances that I cannot live without. This one has a vegetable steamer with it. As you are cooking the rice, you can steam vegetables during the last 8 or so minutes of the rice cooking. We love broccoli this way. If you don't have this-go to Bed Bath and Beyond and get it, you will never cook rice on the stove again!! (and I actually cannot cook it well any other way).
