Not Really Homemade, Homemade Ice Cream

My sister gave me this ice cream starter pack from Williams Sonoma. It actually makes 2 quarts and they are sealed separately, which I like because you can make just 1 quart. All you have to add is 1.5 cups half and half and 1.5 cups heavy cream. This strawberry ice cream was really good. Just pop it in the ice cream maker for 20 minutes, then let it freeze in the freezer for about 3 hours and you are good to go. We'll definitely be trying their other varieties. It's a easy way to feel like you are making homemade ice cream...but such a time saver!
