reminiscing about Japan

As a side to many of the Asian dishes that we make, this is an easy fix. It's Cascadian Farms edamame. You buy it frozen, and just boil it for three minutes and it's done. Sprinkle with sea salt and enjoy. This is much better (I think) than the edamame they sell in the sushi section of the grocery store. AND-it's half the price!

While we were in Japan, we went to this Thai restaurant that we loved (so much we ate there twice). This is the Thai beer that we drank there. Saw it sold individually in Publix, so I had to get a few for our Thai shrimp dish (a favorite here, listed under Asian and shrimp). It's very light, and claims to be the original Thai beer (true or not, who know-but it's good).
