Low Country Boil

A classic and sooo easy dish to make. Michael and I were craving this the other night, so it was out Labor Day meal. I always buy Zatarin's for the boil. It's the best.
Just drop it in the stock pot of boiling water and add the things in the following order:
potatoes, cook about 5 minutes and then add
corn, cook about 5 minutes and then add
sausage, cook about 3 minutes and then add
shrimp, cook 3 minutes and dump it all out on a platter or newspaper and serve. Serve with butter for the corn and potatoes and cocktail sauce for the shrimp.

Notes:
For the sausage, we've tried many, all beef Carolina pride is possibly the best.
If using fresh corn, do as above (the pieces shown are ears cut in half).
If using frozen corn, add it when you add the potatoes.

Like the platter? It was a housewarming gift from my precious friend, Beezie.
