2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups cake flour
3/4 cups cocoa
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13 x 9 pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla. Gradually add flour mixed with cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Blend well. Stir in chips. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Cool and spread with frosting.
For the frosting:
3 oz unsweetened chocolate
2 2/3 cups powdered sugar
3 Tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp vanilla
4 Tbsp water
Melt chocolate and 3 Tbsp butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, and water. Beat with hand mixer until smooth. Spread over cooled cookies.
