Muddy Buddies

Who doesn't love muddy buddies? And I use the recipe from the Chex cereal box (except I add in pretzels). So easy!

3 1/2 cups Corn Chex cereal

3 1/2 cups Rice Chex cereal

2 cups mini pretzel twists

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butter

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

In a large bowl, measure cereal and pretzels. In a 1 quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter uncovered on high for 1 minute. Stir, and continue to microwave in 30 seconds increments, stirring after each, until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour in gallon zip lock bag. Add powdered sugar. Seat bag and sake until well coated. Spread on wax paper to cool.
